Why Kettlebells?

Kettlebells are the equipment used in a Russian based sport called girevoy.  The sport is comprised of different lifts and different weights of kettlebells.  The snatch and jerk are the two most popular movements for the sport.  There are traditional movements and long cycle movements.

I believe incorporating kettlebells into your fitness regimen will give you strength, endurance, and range of motion like you have not experienced before.  The idea of using your entire body for the lifts allows all your bodyparts to work synergistically.  This can enhance your athletic ability, help you lose weight, and take your fitness level to optimal heights.

It does not matter if you are young, old, deconditioned, or a superior athlete, kettlebell training can help you tremendously.  Become a student of the girya (kettlebell) and you will not be disappointed.
