Yoga Once a Week

I signed up for a yoga class two weeks ago at Ananda (state of bliss) Shala ( special place of learning).  A friend of mine is an instructor there and she said go ahead you can do the advance level 2/3 class.  Wow, the Vinyasa (life energy force) based class was very challenging! 

Being an athlete, the class really centered me and helped me loosen up my hips and shoulder complex.  The class was extra warm so sweat is taken to a new level!  As I took deep abdominal breaths the music was rythmic with my heartbeat.  It allowed me to move gracefully through each pose.  I struggled quite a bit with certain poses but I must say I am a believer! 

After the class I felt incredible!  My joints and muscles felt very synergistic and my mind was peaceful.  To say the least I could not wait until the next class.

To all kettlebellers and optimal fitness enthusiasts, try yoga once a week.  Your fitness regimen will be enhanced.
